Students - How to Change Your Password

Keeping your account secure is important! You can easily change your Google password on your own. This will update your password for everything tied to your school account, including your Chromebook, Google Drive, Portal, etc.

Here are the simple steps to change your password:

• Open a web browser (Chrome) and sign in to gmail.com with your school account.
• Click on your profile pic (upper-right corner).
  
• Select "Manage your Google account"
  
• Click on Security in left-hand menu.
  
• Click on Password, and follow the steps to change the password.
  

That's it! Your new password is now active.

Students that require access to lab computers (PCs or Macs)

If you change your password using the above instructions, that password does not sync up with our authentication system that lab computers use.

This would present itself as you not being able to sign in on any of the lab devices using your new password.
